Avail Admission Under PMSS-SC Scholarship

• 👉The scholarships are open to Nationals of India only.
• 👉Eligibility is limited to candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes as specified by their respective State/Union Territory.
• 👉Candidates must have passed either the Matriculation, Higher Secondary, or any higher examination from a recognized University or Board of Secondary Education.
• 👉Determination of the candidate's belonging or domicile will be done by the State/Union Territory authorities.
• 👉Scholarships will be provided to students whose parents' or guardians' income from all sources is not more than Rs. 2,50,000/- during the last Financial Year.
• 👉An income certificate needs to be obtained only once, specifically at the time of admission for courses lasting more than one year.
• 👉The income certificate will be issued by the Authority designated by the State Government.
• 👉Candidates who have completed one stage of education and are currently studying in the same stage but in a different subject will not be eligible. For example, someone studying Intermediate Science after completing Intermediate Arts, or pursuing B.Com after completing B.A., or doing M.A. in one subject after completing M.A. in other subjects, will not meet the eligibility criteria.
• 👉Every child under the care of a parent or guardian will receive benefits from the scheme.
• 👉Scholarship holders under this scheme cannot hold any other scholarship or stipend.
• 👉If offered any other scholarship or stipend, the student can choose the more beneficial option.
• 👉The student must inform the awarding authority through the Head of the Institution about their choice.
• 👉No scholarship payments will be made to the student under this scheme once they accept another scholarship or stipend.
• 👉However, the student can accept free lodging, grants, or ad-hoc monetary help from the State Government or any other source for purchasing books, equipment, or meeting boarding and lodging expenses, in addition to the scholarship amount received under this scheme.
• 👉Students shall be encouraged to have Aadhaar linked Bank accounts to facilitate payments through the Aadhaar Payment Bridge.
